Good Luck Kid Productions was founded in 2019 by longtime executive and producer, Jon Berg, the former Co-President of Production for Warner Bros. Studios.

Berg began his career in the mailroom of Brillstein-Grey Entertainment in 1995, had stop overs at The Canton Company (1996) and then Universal Pictures (1998-2000) before transitioning to managing writers/directors and producing full-time, first at Berg-Sacani Ent and then at Guy Walks into a Bar (2000-2007). Berg made a career defining move to Warner Bros. working there for a decade (2007 to 2017), and there was a production executive on dozens of movies, starting as a Senior Vice-President and eventually rising to Co-President, Production in 2015.

Berg exited WB pictures at the end of 2017 to return to producing.

With a keen eye for emerging talent and an ability to find, develop and package commercial scripts, Berg’s career has been centered on making highly entertaining, popcorn movies for a global theatrical audience.
